2018 Young Voices
Every year, the Toronto Public Library asks for art and writing submissions from youth ages 12-19 to publish in their yearly magazine called Young Voices. The submissions of our students Kathryn Dou (age 13) and Victor Weng (age 13) were selected for the magazine. Great job!
2018 MADD National Poster Contest
The MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) poster contest is a Canada-wide competition, but all six of the 2018 winning entries belonged to students from our art studio. Congratulations to our talented winners!

Richmond Hill: Celebrate Canada 150 Street Banner Contest
To celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, residents of Richmond Hill were asked to design a banner to decorate their streets. We are proud to announce that Eugene Zhu and Esther Zhu’s banners were some of the top 20 chosen to be featured on Yonge St.

2017 Design Exchange Winner Janet Peng
For Design Exchange’s 22nd annual contest, Janet Peng placed first in the fashion design category for her innovative backpack design. Her bag is specifically designed for artists, with extra pockets for storage, and a comfortable material. Congratulations, Janet!
2016 National Immunization Poster Contest
This contest raises awareness about the importance of vaccines in order to keep Canadian kids healthy. One winner from every province and territory was chosen, with Juliana Li representing Ontario. Excellent job creating an educational and creative poster!

Many Faces of Markham 2016
The city of Markham organizes an event and poster contest called Many Faces of Markham. In 2016, the theme title was Aboriginal Celebrations: Voices from the Past, Present, and Future. The following winners were able to successfully communicate this through their artwork.
